Union Pier's beachfront neighborhoods have maintained it's unique character over the decades and it remains one of the most sought after locations for today's vacation home buyer.

Union Pier Lakefront Property

The lakefront property for sale in Union Pier will either have riparian beach rights, where your property extends to the waters edge or it will extend to the edge of the HOA (Home Owners Association) beach, in which case the beach is common ground shared with all other neighbors within the association. Lakefront property in Gordon Beach, Gowdy Shores, and Timberlane Estates, are examples of property with HOA beach rights.

There are pros and cons of owning either type of lakefront property, however, it is generally accepted that the benefits of riparian rights outweighs the negatives and therefore Union Pier lakefront property with Riparian rights is generally more expensive, all other factors being the same.
